Types
Cushion trucks, narrow aisles and pneumatic trucks are just among the various types of forklift trucks made by Clark. The different types vary in terms of the way they operate. Like for example, heavy-duty forklifts used for agriculture and construction are powered by an internal combustible engine. Narrow aisle models designed for use inside warehouses and various other confined spaces are powered by rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
The lifting capacity of Clark forklift trucks differs based on the kind. Forklifts which are battery-powered have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, depending on the kind. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion kinds are recommended. They could carry from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
Clark electrically-powered forklift trucks run on AC battery cells, either 48 volt or 36 volt. The internal combustion or IC engine kinds have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC types have automatic transmission with single-speed, two-speed or three-speed types.
Frame/Cab
The center of the forklift is the frame/cab assembly. This consists of the operator's overhead protective cover, the controls and the seat. The frame consist of the engine, fuel tank, trans-axle, wheels and transmission.
